FARMERS' MARKET
The Maison de l'amitié runs 3 farmers' markets on the Plateau. These are short-circuit markets where you'll be in direct contact with the producers. You'll find local products, flowers & artisans sharing their unique products. We give preference to ethically-minded companies.
Marché Laurier :
Place du Côteau-Saint-Louis (Laurier metro exit)
Thursdays, 3pm to 7pm / Sundays, 12pm to 4pm

Square Saint-Louis.
Tuesdays, 3pm to 7pm

Marché Baldwin :
Mercure Terrace (Parc Baldwin, corner of Fullum and Rachel)

CULTIVONS LE PLATEAU
Every year, the Maison de l'amitié is happy to distribute annual and perennial flowers, donated by the borough of Plateau, to its residents, green alleys and housing cooperatives. Mulch and compost are also available to all.
In 2025, as in previous editions, an urban agriculture fair will be held in parallel with guest organizations. Also some organizations will be giving information about food security, social responsibility and sustainable development.

Intercultural Music Festival
A cross-cultural music festival, Duluth en Arts is a free, family-friendly summer event that takes place outdoors on Duluth Avenue over eight weekends.
The festival contributes to the enhancement of Duluth Avenue, strengthens the social cohesion of the neighborhood and offers everyone the opportunity to discover music of different styles and cultures, performed by talented artists.

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE
Every year, the Maison de l’amitié celebrates this day in partnership with Initiatives et Changement, the Centre de formation sociale Marie-Gérin-Lajoie, Religion pour la Paix – Québec and Outils de Paix.
Activities are organized to raise awareness in the public around questions related to peace and the struggle against conflicts that divide people and threaten the future of the planet.

LES JOURNÉES BRÉSILIENNES
Les Journées Brésiliennes is a free, open-air cultural event open to the general public.
Its goal is to promote the cultural recognition of Montreal’s Brazilian community, while fostering integration and giving visibility to Brazilian immigrant artists and entrepreneurs on the island, connecting them with Quebec society as well as other immigrant communities living in Montreal.
